Join Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates, the Michigan Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and Hope College for a day-long learning experience geared toward helping advocates, professionals, and community members learn about making West Michigan more welcoming and inclusive to immigrants and refugees. On October 21st, 2017, at Hope College’s Martha Miller Center, we will explore the challenges immigrants and refugees face; resources available to this vulnerable community; and strategies for making West Michigan more welcoming and inclusive place.
The Summit program begins at 9:00 AM with pre-Summit signing in/registration from 8:30-9:00AM. The program concludes at 4:30 PM after a keynote address, lunch, networking time, and three rounds of break-out sessions with workshops, panels, and presentations. Participants who register for the Summit must register for the particular sessions they would like to attend during each round. Please note that space is limited for each session, so be sure to register with your preferred sessions as soon as you are able. Because the Summit is a nonprofit event, there is a registration fee of $40 per person ($20 for students) which is used to put on the event and includes lunch for all participants. Click the Register Now button to save your spot at the 2017 Summit!
